I had the same problem when I decided to buy my ex-car. The salesman at the VW dealers became too pushy and was phoning me all day telling me about “the latest offers and what benefits I would receive buying a car from them”. They simply become too insistent when it comes to making money.

That’s funny – I thought about commenting on the “Misti” and “Amber” names in the post – but I thought I may have being overly bitc, er, judgmental. :)

Amazing that you came in with cash and still had to wait. Wow. Cash is, apparently, not king.

But a free tattoo would have been cool. ;)

Misti and Amber? Really? This dealership is being run by Vegas showgirls (I’m being charitable; this is a family blog).

My recent dealership snafu was not as disheartening as yours but still annoying. I had agreed on a price for a Harley, came to the dealership with cash, and had to cool my heels for an hour while someone else was financing their bike with the one money person on duty on Sunday.

Meanwhile, I could only stare longingly at my new (used) hog, which was begging to be taken out for a run in the park.

This didn’t make me walk out, but I wasn’t offered coffee or an extra t-shirt or a free tattoo.

The people at the dealership were all very nice but could use a few more lessons in customer service.
