You mentioned, “from a legal perspective.” Does that mean the client’s legal department has weighed in and said you can’t use the other search term on the page? I don’t know enough about the situation to provide the best guidance, but I’m wondering how you could have a best-of-both-worlds situation… :)

The issue came up because we have an insurance client who calls their product one thing while the search is for a slight variation on that name.

So, we were wondering how we should handle because from a legal perspective, the client wants the product name on the page to be how they term it.

Am I making sense? Any thoughts?
