Thanks for your note! Yes, John Audette’s newsletters were a lifeline back then! They were always so informative and well-edited, too — John chose great moderators! :)

You’ve been working with Danny since the very beginning (didn’t you attend the very first SES?) and you paved the way for thousands of folks. Thank you, Shari, for all you’ve done.

I was surprised, too. Danny deserves time to himself, as all people do.

For me, it was Danny Sullivan & John Audette. John gave us LED Digest, I-Sales, I-Search, and my first foray into moderating: I-Design. Danny was able to learn who became his ‘students’ & pioneers.

We had multiple outlets to communicate to each other, including RankWrite and Kim Krause-Berg’s Cre8PC.

I, too, am grateful for Danny’s friendship, knowledge, guidance, & support.

I am particularly proud of him because his conferences show the highest percentage of female speakers. Danny & his crew do NOT pick speakers based on gender. They pick speakers based on their submissions & qualifications. We need more Danny Sullivan’s in this world.
